Choosing the Right Childcare

Sixty percent of mums with children aged under five, choose or need to work. But in today's society where there is less of a family support system. Finding reliable childcare can be a laborious, difficult and stressful process. Here are some helpful tips to make the process easier:

- Find out about the different childcare options available and which one will best meet your family's needs.
- Whatever type of childcare you decide on, prepare a list of questions that are important to you and don't be afraid to ask them.
- Ensure that you understand what you will get from your childcare provider.
- Check they provide sufficient flexibility to respond to your child's individual needs.
- Ask to be kept fully informed and involved by the childcare provider at all times.
- Allow your child time to get to know the childcare provider. Once they are families with their new situation, they should have fun, enjoy their time and have lots of opportunities to learn.
